Before i get into this, let me start off by saying i am probably hands down the biggest rob dyrdek x rob and big x fantasy factory fan lol. For anyone that knows me or is close to me, you know how much i love this show[s]. I've probably seen every episode of rob and big at least 3 times haha. This is rob's new show called fantasy factory, no big black in this one though. It's pretty much just him and drama and a really big supporting cast haha. Anyways This video is crazy, it's pretty much Rob dressed as Happy Star [?] while giving a brief tour of the factory, but what happens near the end is INSANE.

~ PLAYOFFS 09 ~

Earlier my friend asked me why i blog about everything except sports especially when all i do when post season starts is watch the playoffs. So here is my two cents on the season, but more importantly this year's playoffs.

First off i want to talk about the Detroit-Denver trade. I think it's pretty clear who got the better deal from that trade, i mean chauncey billups is doing work and lets face it, allen iverson isn't really the same guy he was 7-8 years ago. And when you look at detroit, their backcourt took a nasty hit when losing billups not to mention there is no one really to swing around and give that help anymore. Rasheed's contract expires this summer so you KNOW he's going somewhere else. Allen iverson is the second highest payed player in the NBA, but after the playoffs and when half the team crumbles you know dude is going to take a nasty pay cut.

I think people are forgetting how good San Antonio is, there is alot of emphasis and hype towards other teams such as the cavs or the lakers but don't count the spurs out yet, they son'd dallas last night and played their best game of the season hands down. Tony Parker had 19 points in the first quarter, WHILE in foul trouble, that's insane.

As far as chris bosh goes, there are alot of trade talks with this guy but let's be real, Toronto isn't going to trade bosh strictly dependent on a "what-if" basis, think about it? People are saying to trade bosh now because he MIGHT leave when his contract is done and because he MIGHT be interested in playing elsewhere. Until a statement actually comes out of his mouth requesting a trade, they shouldn't move him. His contract is done in a year and he clearly said that he would play that out honorably, so enough with the trade talk lets try and go for one more season with dude and if things don't work out, PEACE CB4!

Now, on to the playoffs. I don't have much to say about this because since day one i was going for the lakers to win, yeah i love Boston don't get me wrong but i really want Kobe to get another ring, without diesel behind him. Boston, man they might not even make it past the first around and i will straight say its because KG isn't playing.

If the lakers don't win, the cavs will.
I will add a more extensive brief on the playoffs but i have work to do.

I couldn't think of a better song to add to my blog than the one playing right now. In case you don't know what it is, well i won't even tell you because you Should know what this song is. Anyways, I've been playing this song for a few months now and the opening words to the song are just perfect for my blog. Not only do they co-exist with the theme of the blog, they co-exist with me. Sometimes when you really feel like you're somewhere else and you feel like your mind is on another level, you start to think you were here before. These days anyone that's different from everyone else seems to be claiming they re from another planet and i feel the same way at times, i feel like That man on the moon. For people to understand where I'm coming from, you really have to COME where I'm coming from. No, I'm not talking about where i live, I'm basically saying that in order to understand my mindset, you have toHAVE my mindset. Saw this on some site on the internet. There isnt much left to do creatively when it comes to cell phones these days, so designer Ryan Ma thought of making a see-thru cell styled cell phone. Pretty crazy, and if this ever blew up in canada, i actually think i would buy this. Let's see where this goes.

~ I'm Still ~

So i was driving home the other day and i passed by Bramalea Road x The Gates of Bramalea and i hit a red light. I looked over to my left and saw a whole bunch of people that i used to kick it with in high school just walking to the mall i guess. They didn't see me but i saw them and i just had a moment for a second. I flash backed to when i was in highschool walking with that same group to go god know's where to do god knows what. I'm not knocking those guys in any way, i have mad love and respect for them, but i thought to myself why can't they get out the way i did? They all had such great potential to do whatever they really wanted in life but they stayed back to live The Other Life. Once again, i'm not knocking the way they live in any way, i just wish i saw my high school friends leave that scene and lifestyle and better themselves a little more. That's the problem with the area down here, there is this mindset that we come from somewhat of a bad area so we have to live that same way, i on the other hand left all that alone as soon as i graduated high school. For anyone that still thinks the people from Brampton and Brampton in general is soft, try coming down here on a weekend at night and see what's up. I'm really glad i grew out of that phase before it was too late; if i was to have the same mentality i had in grade 10 and apply that to how things are now around this area, i would've probably been in alot more trouble. I really don't know where this post is going, i had so many more idea's and thoughts that i wanted to initially add to this, but i'm literally falling asleep typing this.

I just thought I'd share what was on my mind that day. Oh and another thing just hit me, it's almost MAY! I swear 2009 just started a few days ago and now first quarter is already done and over with, i have to start my Christmas shopping soon! Alright I'm going to try and get some sleep, i hate waking up in the middle of the night, it causes me to jump and my computer and blog thus leading to me staying awake longer haha. Good Night.

So my phone is down for the day, company is switching networks to telus so we gotta take a one day hit, kinda shitty but whatever gotta do what you gotta do.

For the people that can't handle my blog because it's simply too much for them and they arn't really ready for shit like this yet so they have to hate on it, i thank you for the hate. Because it's that same hate that make me, and the people who actually understand my blog look that much better. Be the Bigger, better and smarter person in every situation, you can't lose that way. No, sluggers this is not directed at you so don't think that. This is simply directed to the "Not Ready" individuals. Say what you want while reading this, screw up your face and say your whatever's, call me the names, say whatever you want, but people who get affected by what i say up there are people who are guilty. My anger and frustration spilled out yesterday in public, wasn't really my fault but i could've just walked away. Instead i have to throw away a perfectly good shirt, blood stains last for awhile, blah.

~ CITY TO CITY ~

At time when you feel like you're going to explode and lose your mind, a divine intervention can transpire and change your entire outlook on things. Whether it be a funny bumper sticker that makes you laugh to simple words of advice, goodlookin out once again. A trip to vaughan the other day really set my mind at ease. It's funny how everything is about 15 minutes away from my house, square one is about 13-15 minutes exactly and Vaughan mills is about 15-18 minutes going straight down bovaird. How does that relate to anything and why is that important? It's not, but it IS 12:50am and i AM still awake so i WILL blog about anything right now. Shout out Vaughan, good lookin once again big homie.

Anyways since it's release i have watched Fast and Furious twice, once with the wifey and once with the family. It's funny because the GTA set up this nasty blitz on all highways and long roads basically targetting all possible street racers since the movie came out. I'm not gonna lie, after watching the movie, it really makes a driver want to push his car to the limit, especially if it's a import/tuner car. I must have got 4-6 challenges on the highway in the past two days but thanks to the words and pinching threats, i hold back; and i'm a little too old to race anyways. But damn, the movie really makes me want to just gun it sometimes.

Anyways, i have an orientation tomorrow morning so i'm going to finish watching scream, and catch some z's.

~ Fast and Furious Thoughts/Opinions ~

Okay Fast and Furious 4, Right off the bat the movies kicks off with two good actions scenes right after one another. This was a really good way to kick the movie off and get people interested in what was going to happen next so two thumbs up for that. The acting wasn't all that good and sure isn't going to win any awards but this movie wasn't made to win awards, it was made to entertain and it did just that, plus more.

One of my biggest pet peeves are people who automatically hate on this movie just because it's a follow through in the Fast and Furious Series. First of all, you narrow minded people, quit the judging and criticizing and take the movie for what it is, a movie. Watch it and instead of hating on it, try to enjoy it. Yeah it's a little corny and the acting isn't on point, but it sure does entertain so why bash it?

This movie had the perfect amount of action, drama, humor, romance and excitement which is why i gave it an 8.5 out of 10. The only downfall to this movie in my opinion was that there was really only one race which wasn't even all that of a race. They didn't show how powerful a skyline really was and i really think it lacked in realism when it came to the race. Nonetheless, the movie exceeded all my expectations and i was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.

The Fast and Furious : Pretty good movie, Story was a little boring and there was terrible video editing. Acting wasn't so great but the action made up for it. Amazing Eclipse and RX-7 in the movie, and i have to admit if it wasn't for this movie, the import scene wouldn't have blown up the way it did. I actually kept record of how many times i've watched this and i have now seen this movie 39 Times ! I absolutely love this movie and know it word for word, it's a must watch for any car tuner fan. 9/10

2 Fast 2 Furious : This sequel didn't beat the original but the story was alot better and the races were pretty decent. Again, the acting was off but everything besides that compensated nicely. A little too corny though, but GREAT CARS IN THIS ONE. Evo7 and Eclipse Spyder, this movie was all Mitsubishi. Jin and Luda had some roles in the movie and i think that really had alot to do with the cornyness of it, and having an r&b singer like tyrese play an ex-convict who was also into tuning cars didn't work for me. 7/10

The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift : More of good guy vs. bad guy approach to this one. Acting was completely off in this one and the story seemed like it wasn't complete. Entertainment value was perfect in this one, the racing and showing how the main star had to learn to drive drift style was excellent. The cars in this one by far beat all cars in any other of the Fast and Furious Movies. Wide-body rx-7, 3507 Fairlady, EVO8 and the list goes on. And adding Bow Wow to the cast really upset me, i bet this kid can't even drive stick in real life or doesn't even know what a turbo is but that's neither here nor there, not bad.6/10

Fast and Furious 4 : Great movie, really touched up on the story and made it with a little more substance and real to life. Director and writers focused alot more on the plot and background information to the characters instead of just racing and fighting. Cars were the weakest in all of Fast and Furious Movies, An 09 STI and a Monte Carlo SS were probably the nicest ones. I highly recommend this movie for entertainment purposes only. Seeing the original cast from the original really got me excited for this movie and after a year and a half of waiting, i must admit i LOVE THIS MOVIE. 8.5/10

Once again, when watching fast and furious movie's, try not to hate on it and just find random reasons to dislike it in an attempt to separate yourself from all the kids who like it. A good movie is a good movie, a movie is made to entertain and capture the excitement of it's watchers, and regardless of the acting in these movies it does just that, Entertain.

WATCH IT !
